Edit your featured stories by clicking on globals in your WordPress interface

Scroll down to featured stories and choose the stories you wish to highlight! 

Note: The list of possible stories will be automatically adjusted by the stories you add in that tab. Each time a visitor comes to your page WordPress will automatically cycle through and choose a random story from the list that you indicated.
